C- Dictionary is a C-Technology proprietary dictionary application seamlessly integrated with C-Pen 20 handheld scanner. C Dictionary with its C-Pen 20 connection will make translation easy and enable you to swiftly scan and translate any word without losing focus on your reading. Just scan the word you want to translate and instantly get its meaning on the screen. C Dictionary’s embedded learning functionality will also help you learn and remember the meaning of any word with electronic flashcards.
C-Dictionary package contains one two-way dictionary of your choice free of charge. You can optionally download other language pairs from www.cpen.com

Scan and Translate with C-Dictionary
In Translation mode you can scan words or phrases with C-Pen 20 and quickly get the translation on the screen. Translation suggestions will not only show the exact translations but also similar wordings and derivations. As you scan the words with C-Pen 20, focus automatically switches to C Dictionary and the words pop up in the Input field. The active databases are instantly searched and translations/descriptions are provided in the result field.

Learn new words with electronic flashcards
Use the integrated flashcard application to practice and learn words of your choice. Flashcards are a great way to learn and remember new information. There is a research to suggest that flashcards are the best tool for memorization. Much of this research focuses on what is called “spaced repetition”, in which information is reviewed over gradually expanding intervals. With the Flashcard exercises you can rehearse the words you have previously looked up.

Scan text and digits directly into your application
You may scan text and digits directly to the cursor position in any open application on your PC with the Text To Cursor mode. In Text To Cursor mode, the text you scan with C-Pen 20 is pasted into an open document where you have placed the cursor. C-Pen recognizes text in over 167 languages.
